The Bear Trap is an important alliance event in Whiteout Survival that offers valuable rewards. This guide will walk you through everything you need to know about participating in this event effectively.

What is the Bear Trap?

➤ The Bear Trap is a special event unlocked when your alliance hits Level 5. Once triggered, a ferocious bear appears — but don't worry, it doesn't bite back.

Instead, your alliance gets 30 minutes to deal as much damage as possible. The higher the damage (both individual and alliance-wide), the better the rewards: speedups, resources, gear materials, and sometimes even hero shards.

How to Start & Participate

🧩 Step 1: Starting the Bear Trap

Only alliance leaders (R5) or officers (R4) can initiate the event. Once started, the bear takes a few minutes to appear on the map.

🧩 Step 2: Form Rallies

Once the bear is active, members can either create or join rallies. Each rally can include up to 5 players. The goal is simple: keep rallies going nonstop until the timer ends.

How to Create Rally?

When starting a rally, choose one hero from each role to get the best synergy:

Frontline	Molly, Mia
Midline	Nathalia, Flint, Sergey
Backline	Bahiti, Zinnmann, Alonso, Greg

Best Setup:

🔥 Use Molly as your rally lead with two strong support heroes. Molly's AoE and expedition skill bring huge value to the team.

How to Join Rally?

You only get one chance to apply expedition skills per rally — so your first hero matters a lot.

🔹 Joiners:

Formation 1: Jessie | other hero | other hero
Formation 2: Jasser | other hero | other hero
Formation 3: Seo-Yoon | other hero | other hero
Formation 4: Jeronimo | other hero | other hero

🔹 If no hero: Dispatch troops only.

Alternative Method:

💡 To join a rally, use Jesser, Jessie, Seo-yoon, or Patrick as the first hero. No heroes available? That's okay — send troops without heroes. Every bit counts.

Optimal Troop Composition

Your damage output depends heavily on how you build your troop lineup. Here's the ideal formation:

🏹 Marksmen	65%

🎯 Why Marksmen? They're the primary DPS in Bear Hunt. Always send your highest tier Marksmen for the best damage.

Equip rally leaders with gear that enhances Lethality and Attack. Don't leave Molly out there with common gear — she deserves the best.

Donate these to boost your alliance's Bear Trap Attack by up to 25%. The more you give, the harder your alliance hits.
